NC Bhaktapur district president and federal lawmaker Durlabh Thapa, Memorial Park Chair Mathawar Singh Basnet, and NC Bhaktapur district joint secretary Yadav Adhikari also highlighted Singh's dedication and sacrifices throughout his political career.
Legacy of Leadership
Ganeshman Singh, revered as the supreme commander of the 2046 BS people's movement, played a pivotal role in restoring democracy in Nepal. He is remembered for his humility and integrity, notably refusing King Birendra Shah's offer to become Prime Minister following the success of the movement.
The commemoration served as a reminder of Singh’s enduring influence on Nepal’s democratic journey.
